CO₂ Performance Ladder

To this end, we are committed to measuring and reducing our carbon footprint through the CO₂ Performance Ladder. Our goal is to achieve level 3 certification, which requires a clear understanding of our CO₂ emissions and their sources. By staying informed about the latest developments in our industry, we actively participate in initiatives that help reduce our carbon impact. Keynius prioritizes the reuse and recycling of materials in the manufacturing of our smart lockers. All lockers are built from 100% recyclable steel and feature components designed for easy disassembly and recycling at the end of their lifecycle. Additionally, we offer maintenance and refurbishment for products that have reached the end of their service life, ensuring minimal waste. Our products are durable, backed by extended warranties, and come with long-term availability of replacement parts. For wooden lockers, we utilize 100% circular wood, of which at least 90% is sourced from recovered materials. The remaining 10% is made up of residual wood streams from the industry.

This partnership enables us to integrate recycled textiles and wood scraps into our smart locker solutions, promoting transparency in our supply chain and supporting a circular economy. Our collaborative efforts with Rezign® ensure that our products not only meet the highest standards of functionality and security but also contribute to a greener, more sustainable future. Circular and Modular Solutions

One of our key projects with CBRE in Amsterdam features circular and modular smart lockers made from recycled textiles through our collaboration with Planq. These lockers are electronically accessible and provide a secure, sustainable solution for employees to store their personal belongings.

Logistics & Packaging

At Keynius, we prioritize eco-friendly transportation, utilizing electric vehicles or, at a minimum, Euro 6 compliant models. Our primary logistics partner also embraces clean energy solutions, frequently using electric and even hydrogen-powered vehicles. By managing our logistics planning in-house, we minimize unnecessary mileage. Wherever possible, we deliver directly to our customers to streamline transportation. We are committed to sustainability, using only recycled packaging materials in minimal quantities, and exclusively employing reusable pallets, which we collect for future use.
