The Keynius hardware consists of several components that combined make sure your locker wall functions perfectly and is ready for all the smart possibilities. These components are the locks, for opening and closing locker doors, the Smarty (terminal with screen) which can be used by users and administrators, and the connectivity ware, which provides the connection between the Smarty and the locks. The Keynius hardware components form an easy to install solution to make all smart functionalities available on your locker wall.
For opening and closing the doors of your locker wall, Keynius has developed a unique 2-in-1 lock that can be used as either a Push2Open or a Pop2Open lock. Keynius is the only company that offers these specific types of locks. In addition, a battery lock is possible. Of course, this battery is very solid: it easily lasts five years. The battery lock is easy to manage and use with Keynius Mobile App. Open the lock without any power.
The next important component and also seen as an eye-catcher of the locker wall is the terminal with touchscreen: the Smarty. However, locker walls can also be operated by the Keynius App or Keynius Online in which case you don’t need a touchscreen on your Smarty.
The controller that makes any locker wall Smart. A plug & play IOT device that is easy to set up by anyone. We start with a Smart Home Teacher and can connect up to 255 Smart Home Students. A Smart Home Teacher can be used for multiple locker walls, as long as there is a cable connection to other Smart Home Students. The Smart Home Teacher is the beginning of the Smart connection, to receive internet via LAN cable or WIFI. The Smart Home Students are connected to the Smart Home Teacher with a cable and transmit all data to the teacher. The wires of the lock can be connected completely randomly in the Smart Home. Connecting the lock wires can be connected fully random into the Smart Home. When connecting the Smart Home to the locker wall, the system will automatically recognize which Smart Home port is which locker. The Smart Homes are easily connected to the Keynius platform via Mobile app.
