Rain Plus is a steel smart locker cabinet designed for outdoor storage or collection points. It has a 1.5 mm steel body and doors, rubber seals, and integrated weatherproof leaf hinges. The installation location and selected access system determine the final workflow and operating conditions.

Rain Plus includes outdoor sealing features, weatherproof leaf hinges, and ground-mounting reinforcements. Indoor models such as Core, Elite Plus, and Vault Plus should not be treated as outdoor cabinets simply because an attached reader or terminal has a weather rating.

The datasheet calls for a suitable foundation, M12 mounting hardware, a grounding connection, and protected power and Ethernet connections. The foundation and anchoring should be confirmed by the installer for the site conditions and chosen cabinet footprint. Rain Plus is 2300 mm high and supports one- or two-column layouts with 1–10 doors per column. Width and depth options vary by layout. Measure the stored items and confirm usable internal dimensions, door clearance, service access, and foundation size before ordering.

The cabinet uses rubber seals at its doors and cabinet connections, with weatherproof leaf hinges. These are documented construction features; they do not establish an overall cabinet IP rating or guarantee performance in every exposure condition. Confirm the location and installation requirements with Keynius.

The datasheet recommends light cabinet colors for environments with high temperatures or strong sun exposure because dark finishes can build up heat. It also recommends north- or east-facing placement for cabinets with a Smarty terminal where appropriate to the site. Assess local sun exposure and screen visibility before fixing the orientation.

The Rain Plus datasheet lists Smart Lock René, Smarty terminals, a QR reader, and a contactless and PIN payment terminal as technology options. Select the appropriate weather-suitable hardware and Keynius workflow for the project, then confirm power, network, credentials, and payment arrangements as part of the complete specification.

The datasheet lists flush aluminum numbering plates, LED lighting integrated with a canopy, a camera holder for the canopy, and an angled terminal screen. Confirm which components are included and which must be ordered separately; a camera holder does not include a camera.

A Rain Plus project can be planned around access outside staffed hours if the site remains accessible and the chosen hardware, software, power, and network setup supports that flow. Agree opening hours, user assistance, maintenance, and exception handling before making that service available.

Share the installation address, exposure conditions, required storage capacity, largest item sizes, proposed cabinet position, and access workflow.
