Our partner Office & Lockers has started its own brand in locker rental: Locky. The Hungarian company will roll out this brand in various industries throughout Hungary and has engaged our company to support them in this. The launch of the first Locky project followed in January 2024: a locker wall in a collective building in the center of Budapest.
With the new Locky brand, Office & Lockers is responding to the problem that tourists to Budapest didn’t have a 24/7 option to store their heavy luggage in a safe place using a credit card or online payment. A wish that was expressed by tourists as they don’t want to carry their heavy luggage with them all day while exploring the city. Another wish was the option to reserve a locker prior to a visit.
The fact that Office & Lockers entered into a partnership with our company to solve this problem is due to the fact that, based on our existing collaboration and additional experience, the company was convinced to purchase the best rental solution from us. This has several reasons, namely:
– Users can reserve a locker prior to a visit
– Users can easily pay online or via credit card
– Flexible and simple management is possible via the app and online portal; Consider, for example, setting prices per location or wall
– A private payment platform with easy onboarding can be created for the end client
– Application of your own logo and color scheme is possible for the end client thanks to the configurable layout of the app
Ultimately, we achieved a solution in which 32 wired locks, 1 Smarty Terminal, 1 contactless payment terminal were delivered. And of course all this with the Keynius rental software terminal operation and online app. We drew up everything ourselves and set up the system. A solution that allows visitors to enjoy sightseeing without having to worry about their heavy luggage, which is safely stored in a supervised locker room.
Office & Lockers is very satisfied with what they call ‘the easiest and most flexible luggage solution in Budapest’. In addition, thanks to the versatile Keynius platform, they can offer storage solutions at events, festivals and luggage storage solutions in touristic areas. As far as they are concerned, several Locky projects will soon follow in collaboration with our company.
