Why Keynius + LogisticsOS matters
Keynius and LogisticsOS work together to close the last step in mailroom delivery. LogisticsOS manages the full chain of custody from inbound receiving and barcode scanning through recipient notification, while Keynius smart lockers provide the secure, self-service collection point. The combination eliminates the need for staffed hand-off at the point of delivery, freeing mailroom teams to focus on higher-value operations.
Compatibility
- Keynius platform and API
- Appropriate LogisticsOS license and account
- Configured LogisticsOS workflow
- Dedicated LogisticsOS service account
Collection method
- PIN-based parcel collection
- Recipient email notification
- Secure self-service locker collection
Integration
- API package-data submission from LogisticsOS to Keynius
- Auto-assigned locker reservation or batch delivery workflow
- Recipient notification after physical locker placement
- Parcel and locker event handling through the configured workflow
Best for
- High-volume mailrooms
- Education
- Healthcare and pharmaceutical environments
- Corporate workspaces
- Operations that need chain-of-custody visibility
Key Considerations
- Define whether each inbound parcel should auto-assign a locker or be batched before it reaches the locker bank.
- Send the recipient notification only once the parcel is physically placed in the locker.
- Confirm the operational owner, support escalation, emergency override, and exception handling before go-live.
Sample Use Cases
- A mailroom receives and barcode-scans an inbound parcel in LogisticsOS; approved package data is sent to Keynius and a locker is reserved automatically.
- A high-volume mailroom batches parcel data, carts items to the lockers, then notifies recipients after physical placement.
- A recipient receives an email notification and collects the parcel from the Keynius locker with a PIN.
