Our steel lockers are made from 15% recycled steel.
Our wooden lockers are made from 50% circular wood, with 90% being sourced from recovered materials and the remaining 10% is made up of residual wood streams from the industry.
Our SPHERE 360 locker line is made entirely from recycled denim and other bio-waste materials.
Our locker management system switches to a low-energy consumption setting whenever inactive.
We offer battery lockers that use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), a wireless technology designed for short-range communication with significantly lower power consumption. Our components have long-standing warranties and have been designed for easy disassembly and end-of-life recycling.
We've launched - and will continue to launch - new facilities throughout the EU to lower our carbon emissions and minimize unnecessary mileage. We prioritize eco-friendly transportation whenever possible, utilizing electric vehicles or Euro 6-compliant models.
We use recycled packaging materials in minimal quantities and reusable pallets.

Keynius lockers combine smart electronic locks - smart locks and battery locks - with cloud-based software and optional local controllers via our Smart Home Teacher and Students.
Locks connect via LAN or Bluetooth to the Keynius platform, allowing users to authenticate, open, and manage lockers through touchscreens, RFID, PIN, or mobile app. Our smart locker system integrates high-end hardware with an intuitive interface to provide a seamless experience for both administrators and end-users.
Admins control access rights, monitor usage, and configure lockers remotely via the Keynius Portal.
Yes. We are the only smart locking provider that owns every part of our supply chain, which includes all components, hardware, cabinetry, and software. This allows us to offer the most customizable smart lockers system in the industry.
Lockers are available in multiple materials and colors:
Steel, powder-coated in standard RAL colors.
Wood-based panels with extensive Egger color finishes.
HPL laminate for high-durability indoor/outdoor use.
Outdoor waterproof steel version.
Each locker supports optional side panels, bases, benches, and color branding, or vinyl wrapping, as well as your selection of lock type, connection type, and many other custom add-ons. This ensures that your personal lockers for workplace environments fit perfectly into your interior design while remaining highly functional for staff.
The Keynius platform is fully cloud-managed, requiring no local servers. Our comprehensive locker management system ensures that hardware like Smart Home Teacher/Student units and Battery Locks connect to the cloud via LAN or Bluetooth and are configured through the Keynius Portal or App.
Supported authentication methods for the smart locker system include:
PIN (capacitive keypad or mobile-assigned)
RFID (MiFare, HID, NFC, Apple Wallet)
Mobile app (BLE) for remote and Bluetooth access
QR code scanning (QR Reader IP65)
Payment terminals can optionally authenticate via debit/credit contactless systems.
Hardware is certified to CE, FCC, UKCA, and RoHS standards, with IP-rated protection up to IP65 for outdoor units.
Locks feature encryption, motorized mechanisms, and mechanical overrides for fail-safe access.
All data, including access logs and credentials, is stored securely in Keynius’ EU-hosted cloud environment compliant with European data protection standards, to ensure your personal lockers for workplace users remain safe and compliant.
Yes. Our locker management system is designed for seamless integration. The system offers open APIs for integration with HR, facility, payment, or booking systems. Payment terminals support remote configuration through the Terminal API.

Smart lockers stay operational. Wired systems switch to offline mode and keep validating any credentials they’ve already stored, while battery-powered locks continue to function normally. Every open or close action is saved locally and syncs back to the cloud once power and network return.
And if there’s ever a hard fault, authorized staff can still access compartments using a controlled mechanical override.
